He currently serves on the Telluride Jazz Festival Board and is the Producer of the beloved Sunset Concert Series in Mountain Village, a free nine-show summer concert series that brings the community together year after year. Elected Mayor of the Town of Telluride in November 2023, Teddy brings visionary leadership, approachability, and a steadfast commitment to preserving Telluride’s unique character while guiding thoughtful, sustainable growth.
He is a strong advocate for affordable housing, critical capital infrastructure projects—including the Gondola, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Medical Center—and ongoing cultural enrichment. Working closely with residents, second homeowners, businesses, regional governments, and organizations, Teddy applies decades of experience in real estate, local government, nonprofits, and special events to help shape a vibrant, inclusive future for Telluride.Outside of work, Teddy fully embraces the Telluride lifestyle. An avid golfer, snowboarder, and hockey player, he can often be found enjoying the slopes, attending local music festivals, walking his Silver Lab Ellie, or spending time in Town Park.
